Oneness. It’s what we were created for. To be one with the One Who created us and loved us so much He gave His Son to die for us. To be one in Him together with our husbands, our wives, our children, our parents, our brothers and sisters in the faith, our co-workers – one in purpose, one in truth, one in love, one in faith.
Oneness. Not that we all think alike and respond alike. Not that we’re all perfect and never make a mistake. But that we are one body, one spirit in Christ our Head. That we are His. Headed together in His directions, seeing each other and the situations we find ourselves in through His eyes. Loving each other and the lost with the same no-boundaries love that He has freely loved us.
Jesus is our example. How was He One with His Father?
He retreated to lonely places to spend time alone with His Father, to commune with Him. And then He loved those around Him with His Father’s love, spoke His Father’s words of truth, followed only His paths and healed with His power.

This is the One we serve, and this is the Oneness we were created for. John 5:19. John 17:20-21:
“I pray… that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.”
What is a One retreat?
Are you worn out? Stuck in your relationship with God? Or in conflict with others?Do you long to hear God's voice more clearly and see Him working more powerfully in your life?
One retreats are a chance to break away from the busyness of life and reconnect with the One it's all for.
Individually designed by the Vincents for your personal needs, a One retreat offers extended time alone with God, as well as refreshing worship and new tools from the Word on listening to God's voice, walking in the Spirit, and influencing others. Personal prayer counseling and encouragement are also available.
One retreats can be individualized with tools and teaching to fit the needs of couples (One in Marriage), teams (One Together in Christ), church staff, parents, youth, missionaries, new believers, pastors, Christian leaders, women, Sunday School classes, etc. But the main focus of a One retreat is time alone with God.
The smaller the gathering (3-20 people) the better, but One retreats can also be designed for larger groups.
We recommend 3-5 days for a One retreat, but the format can be adjusted for shorter retreats, as well.
A One retreat can be held anywhere in the world. Ideally, the best setting is a quiet location accessible to outdoor beauty, with enough space for each person to have his/her own room.
